Bro. Kevin Denton, Pastor

Bro. Kevin has been our Pastor since August 11, 1996. A native of Ballard County, KY, he is a graduate of Mid-Continent Baptist Bible Collge, now named Mid-Continent University, Mayfield, KY, with a BA in Bible and has done graduate work through The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY. Bro. Kevin had been the pastor of Eddyville Baptist Church, Eddyville, IL (1982-1986) and Lovelaceville Baptist Church, Lovelaceville, KY (1986-1996) before moving to Horse Cave. Bro. Tony Norman, Interim Music Director
Dr. Tony Norman has been our interim Music Director since February 2010. A native of Lynchburg, VA, he is a graduate of Liberty University where he earned a B.S. and M.A. in counseling. Tony earned his PhD in Educational Psychology from the University of Virginia, Charlottsville. He is currently Associate Dean, College of Education and Behavioral Sciences for Western Kentucky University. Tony has been involved in Christian Music all his life and has done interim work in several churches while living in Kentucky and Virginia. He and his wife, Susan, have five children, the oldest is a Freshman at Liberty University, and live in Bowling Green. We welcome Tony to Horse Cave Baptist Church.
Phyllis Wilcoxson, Ministry Assistant
Phyllis has been our Ministry Assistant since June 6, 2005. A native of Green County, KY, she was Business Office Director at Jane Todd Hospital, Greensburg, KY, for 20 years. Phyllis received her Ministry Assistant Certification on July 23, 2005 and is a member of the National Association of Southern Baptist Secretaries. Inc. and Kentucky Baptist Secretaries Association. Phyllis and her husband, Ray, have a combined family of five adult children and ten grandchildren.
Rita Huffman, Custodian

Rita joined our staff as custodian on March 15, 2006. Rita is a native of Barren County and had served for several years as the Assistant Custodian. She is also employed at Hart County Physical Therapy as the Office Manager. Rita has one daughter who is in college at Western Kentucky University.
El Faro Mission Staff
Victor Silbestre, Pastor
Victor Silbestre is pastor for El Faro (The Lighthouse), our Hispanic Mission, since December 2007. Victor migrated from Guatemala and received his permanent resident status in 2004. He accepted Christ in 1997, surrendered to preach in 2003, licensed by Little Bethel Baptist Church in 2004, ordained by Horse Cave Baptist Church on November 16, 2008, and is currently attending the Kentucky Baptist Convention's Hispanic Bible Institute. Victor and his wife, Amy, have two daughters and a son. He is also employed with Burkmann's Feed, Glasgow, KY. Victor can be reached at 270-590-2623.
